General Policies
At All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites, we value our clients as an extended family and wish to secure your trust by our high values and quality of service. As your pet's care provider, we want to give you the best we have to offer in the safest and healthiest environment possible. In order to do so, we have our Policies and Procedures listed here for your convenience. All Policies, Procedures, Protocols, Pricing and content are subject to change for various reasons. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the information listed on our pages, please do contact us; we love to hear from our extended family!
Especially during medical emergencies, it's often difficult to discuss the costs. Our medical facility has your pet(s) treatment as our immediate concern. However, we do have costs of our own in order to administer treatment to our patients. Therefore, we do require payment in full at the time service(s)/estimate(s) rendered.
For Your Pet's Comfort and Safety, We Have Boarding Protocols:
1. Every pet(s) will undergo a *complimentary pre-boarding examination by the attending All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites veterinarian before transferring to the boarding facilities. *Sick pet(s) require Doctor examination and full charges may apply. 2. Online scheduling of suites does not guarantee the availability of that particular suite. Our staff will accommodate your preferences to the best of their ability. Please book 24 hours in advance and cancel 24 hours in advance for best service.
3. No one likes last minute rushing, so our boarding check-in times are Monday through Friday 8am - 6:30pm PST, Saturday 9:00am - 3:30pm PST and Sunday 10:00am - 1:30pm PST. Boarding check-out times are Monday through Saturday prior to 10:00 am PST and Sunday 11:00 am PST to avoid additional boarding charges. 4. To protect the health of all our vacationing guests, We do require current vaccinations. Vaccinations required for Dogs are - DHAPP, Corona, Bordetella and Rabies. Bordetella (kennel cough) must have been given in the last six (6) months to be considered current for boarding. Bordetella (kennel cough) is highly contagious and even with the protection of this vaccination, contraction of Bordetella is still possible, however the vaccination does decrease this risk. We highly recommend the Lyme vaccine for all dogs. Vaccinations required for Cats are - FVRCP, FELV and Rabies. We do recommend FIV and FIP vaccines for cats. All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites is not responsible for contraction of contagious disease(s), however we do all we can to protect the health of all.
5. Included in our efforts to protect the health of all our visiting guests, All Pets must be free of fleas, flea dirt, Ticks, Intestinal Parasites, etc. If any of these ectoparasites are observed on your pet, treatment will be implemented at the owner's expense including but not limited to medicated bath and/or ectoparastic topical and/or oral treatment at the owner's expense. All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites also offers medical boarding at an additional charge. See our price page for more information. 6. We have licensed Veterinarian Doctors on staff at our cutting edge facility. In the event of your pet(s) medical emergency while boarding, All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites staff will administer emergency care as needed at the owner's expense. Staff will also do their due diligence to contact owner(s) of the emergency and communicate necessary treatment for the animal(s) concerned. Please keep in mind we do not have staff on premises after hours. 7. All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites has implemented these procedures and protocols to allow the Doctors and staff to monitor the health and care of every pet(s) that are entrusted in our care. All owners are responsible to communicate with All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites staff regarding pet(s) behavior temperament (especially chances of biting, scratching, etc.) 8. THERE IS NO PERSON ON THE PREMISES AT THE FACILITY AFTER HOURS. 9. All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites does it's best to keep track of all vacationer's luggage and carry-ons, however Bowls and leashes are NOT permitted with boarders; we use our own and don't want yours to get damaged, lost or used on another vacationer. Bedding, Blankets, Toys, Especially Food and treats are STRONGLY encouraged for all vacationers. We know that Pet(s) like the scent of their own items and the taste of their own food.
Grooming Protocols & Requirements:

6. All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites has implemented these procedures and protocols to allow the Doctors and staff to monitor the health and care of every pet(s) that are entrusted in our care. All owners are responsible to communicate with All Creatures Animal Hospital and Luxury Boarding Suites staff regarding pet(s) behavior temperament (especially chances of pet(s) biting, scratching, etc.). We do offer sedation for an additional charge if needed.
1. *Sick and/or Pregnant pet(s) will not receive vaccinations. Lactating pet(s) upon Doctor's approval. 2. Vaccinations must be administered upon acceptable Veterinary practice series. 3. Pet(s) owners are advised to supervise their pet(s) for signs of unusual vaccination reactions.
For Your Pet(s) Health, We Do Have Spay and Neuter Protocols and Requirements:
1. Surgery is an extensive medical procedure and your pet(s) health is our greatest concern.
Therefore, *Sick pet(s) will not receive Spay/Neutering until they are healthy.
2. Because your pet(s) health is our biggest concern, Vaccinations must be current for Dogs
are: DHAPP, Corona, Bordetella and Rabies. We do recommend the Lyme vaccine for dogs.
Vaccinations must be current for Cats are: FVRCP, FELV and Rabies. We do recommend FIV
and FIP vaccines for cats.
3. Unfortunately, the unknown can occur during medical treatment. So, extra charges may
apply for pet(s) pregnant, in-heat, cryptorchid, pyometra or other abnormalities because
extra precautions and medication are required at that point.
4. Because your pet(s) is undergoing surgery, Strictly NO food AND NO water after 10:00 pm
PST the night prior to surgery and after surgery until the following morning. Your pet does
need to be dropped off for the procedure first thing in the morning.
5. During the surgery, your pet will be under anesthesia. Because of this, we recommend the
following procedures at a discounted bulk-rate: teeth cleaning, ear flushing, microchip, nail
trim and other specialized procedures. Pets under anesthesia can have adverse reactions.
Spay and Neuter is an extensive procedure. The unknown can sometimes occur during this
procedure. We take precautionary medicine prior to anesthesia. We recommend fluid treatment
to maintain pressure and rehydration. We also recommend pre-anesthetic screening of blood
work in order to rule out unforeseen problems.
Payment Policy Especially during medical emergencies, it's often difficult to discuss the costs. Our medical facility has your pet(s)treatment as our immediate concern. However, we do have costs of our own in order to administer treatment to our patients. Therefore, we do require PAYMENT IN FULL at the time service(s)/estimate(s) rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit and Cash. Checks not accepted. We also work with most insurance carriers in processing of required forms.
